Björnsteel has metal product manufacturing (welding, machining, thin sheet working, sandblasting, painting and assembly) such as subcontracting, sales and export. The basic principle of the company is to provide customized solutions. We offer increasingly also subassemblies.

Our customers are important metal and construction companies. Our biggest clients are KONE Oyj, Wärtsilä Finland Oy, Nek Oy and M-Partners Oy.

One of our goal is to manufacture the products with the highest level of precision in accordance with the latest applicable standards. We comply strictly the quality requirements set forth by purchaser. We offer products with short delivery time. If agreed, we keep a safety stock of products to be able to respond to urgent need of the orders.

We have up-to-date certificates for ISO 9001:2015 quality system (since November 2009) and ISO 14001:2015 environmental system (since January 2010). EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, STG2 standard was certified in September 2015. The EN 1090 standards are European standards that regulate the fabrication and assembly of steel and aluminium structures and are recognized by the Construction Products Regulation 2011.

Our export is about 70% from sales. Export products are mainly special installation tools or installation tool kits for KONE companies all over the world.

Our prices are Ex Works and prices do not include packing materials, as well as taxes, duties or other possible charges, unless there is otherwise set out in offer. In case of delay in payment by purchaser, we charge an interest of eight percent.

Björnsteel has joined 2012 the Environmental Register of Packaging. This is non-profit firm which aims to improve the beneficial use of packages.

Company is owned by the Björni family. The company was established in 1948, giving us experience and competitiveness in the field for about 70 years.
